A war.

#unrelatedphotooftheday

Greetings citizens of the globe! Wake up and smell the coffee. Its a beautiful Sunday morning. Feel the cool breeze, the air after rain, the blooming of the flowers, the chirping of birds. Wonderful morning :)

Well, today, this post, as I believe may be the last post of this blog as in Mr H said that we shall update our blogs everyday till the last day before our exam starts. Tomorrow will be the big day, the dawn of our finals, starting with the Bahasa Melayu paper.

So, I wish all of you the best! My dearest #PERMATA1314 batchmates :D We shall face this together, a war till the end.

Ya Allah, please ease everything, let us answer the exam with comfort and ease. Allow us to reach our goals and expectations. Give us strength and faith. Accompany us in this war. Ameen.

As we step in the hall tomorrow, note that pointers do not determine your intelligence. Marks do not how smart you are. Placings do not determine who you are. GOODLUCK!

Quotes of the day #001

To quote a friend;
Don't resist your feelings, follow it, but don't get flown away by it.

To quote Yasmin Mogahed;
If you want to stop getting hurt, stop getting attached to things that dissapear.

Feelings are wonderful. They spices up our life, yet sometimes, too much of spices could ruin everything. Fix it by adding other ingrediants in life :) Toodles!

Reflect

In life, we do things, some we wish we had never done, some we wish we could replay a million times in our heads. But they all make us who we are and in the end, they shape every detail about us. If we were to reverse any of them, we wouldn't be the person we are. So just live. Make mistakes. Have wonderful memories. But never ever second guess who you are, where you have been and where is it you're going.

Simple words could hide thousands meanings beneath it. Reflect.

"WORDLESS" WEDNESDAY

Greetings citizens of the globe! I believe this shall be the last 'WORDLESS' Wednesday post as starting from next week I shall stop blogging as in Mr H said that our blog updates go on till the last day before the exam. Next week will be the final examination for this second semester as well as for this year. The truth is, I am not ready yet for the exam. BEST WEEKEND EVER! - 3 days' update in a post.

#quotesoftheday

Greetings citizens of the globe! Well, this post is a three-days-straight update about what us, particularly me and my batchmates - PERMATA1314 did last weekend.

FRIDAY
We left PERMATA after the Jumaat prayer. Guess what? We departed to Tanjung Malim, Perak! Yay! We went for a three days two night camp in Kem Desa Selesa as part of our Jati Diri component. As soon as we arrived that afternoon, we had a short briefing regarding our 3 days stay. Honestly, I was extremely excited! Then, we had our very first slot, which is the ice breaking session. We were divided randomly into groups. My group members were Aimi, Rabi, Law, Nik, Bakte, Aizat, Akid, Kasdi, Danial and of course, myself. I rarely speak with some of them, in fact never. Magically, it was the best group ever and we called ourselves as GOOSE-BUMPS! It was a good starter of the camp. Later that night, we had another session called the night walk. Creepy yet so fun!

SATURDAY
To be honest, it was the best day ever! We had aerobic that morning followed by jungle trekking, survival and river crossing. There was this one part where the whole team members had to carry one member- the lightest one till one checkpoint. Suprisingly, I was the one. Out of all the hardships we went through together, we actually learnt something meaningful - team work and trust. The river crossing session was great! In fact, I can hardly describe my feelings about the whole camp just by words. Later that afternoon, we had a session called obstacles where of course we had to pass all the obstacles in order to proceed to the next checkpoint. The best part of all was that we played in rain and mud! That night, we had Malam Kebudayaan where every group was given a theme and was required to perform a drama based on the theme given. My group got Kem Desa Selesa as the theme of our drama. So we performed a very weird yet to me it was very interesting drama called Fantasi Cinta. Actually I dont remember the complete title of our play XD

SUNDAY
Sadly, it was our last day there. We learnt a lot and gained tonnes of new experiences including getting to know more about our batchmates. I love PERMATA1314. It was true what they said during the Breaking The Square session, enjoy life as it is, dont stress up yourself, have fun, make the best out of your life and dont worry as you still have your friends beside you, always, as friends are the one who made our life meaningful.

just a post~

#unrelatedphotooftheday

Greetings citizens of the globe! So today is the *first day of school* (technically, after the Raya Haji holiday) So, here's the update, I didnt went back to PERMATA yesterday, instead, I spent my night outside. I planned to go back to PERMATA before school session starts. Sadly, I woke up late. My morning was a rush, I took any formal blouse that I can find in my luggage, a random green turqoise skirt, wore an unformal yellow flats, stuffed all my things inside my bags, took anything that can be ate and took a cab straight to PERMATA. Luckily, mom ironed my headscarf the night before. *HAPPY FACE*

I arrived in PERMATA, went to the hall and my physical education class was about to end. Fortunately, teacher wasnt mad. *pheww* So, today, none of the teachers came in. We sat in the dining hall from morning till noon. *BORED* Probably, thats all. Toodles!

Happy Eid Adha!

I can hear takbir from the mosque, the most beautiful melody of praising Him and only Him, Allah SWT the Most Merciful, our Lord.

Rendang is on the stove. I can smell the tempting aroma of kuah kacang. The lemang are now well cooked. Inai is in the making. I can see people wearing baju kurung and baju melayu everywhere. I can see cows tied at the corner of the compound. Today, 10th Zulhijjah, 16th October, its Aidil Adha!

I woke up early and saw my cat, an American short hair breed, sleeping next to me on the sofa. Apparently, I slept on the sofa last night in front of my laptop and assignments-unfinished bussiness. Luckily, no pain. Im waiting for a phone call from my father and sister. Apparently they cant be able to come home for raya. Sadly, this year's raya is not really a raya for me - Im guessing, for all students out there as well. I'll be leaving Ipoh this noon and I'll be coming back in November. Pheww, thats long. Alhamdulillah I am still breathing today. Seems like I dont really have anything to say here. So, toodles!

Empty

Greetings citizens of the globe. This is very simple. I did nothing productive today. Apparently that feeling of emptiness and unmotivated are dominating the soul. Tomorrow shall be the last day I am at home, then I'll be in Ipoh again in a month time. This Friday we are going to Tanjung Malim for the level 1 'Jati Diri' camp. Next week shall be a war against ourselves to prepare for the final semester examination. Finally, the last 3 weeks before school ends will be the examination week. This is rough.

Its good to be home

#unrelatedphotooftheday

Greetings citizens of the globe!
Alhamdulillah, after a long day, I am finally home. Started my whole journey from Senawang, Negeri Sembilan and heading straight to Serdang, KL Sentral and finally I am back in Ipoh. The whole day I was in the train. It was super tiring but it is simply nice to arrive and be at home after  months stranded in the little high-technological jungle. Now I need a long good night sleep, therefore I shall stop here and head straight to my comfy bed which I left two months ago. Good night, sweet dreams and sleep tight people! Dont let the bugs bite :D Toodles!

Finally its HOLIDAY!

#unrelatedphotooftheday

Greetings citizens of the globe! This is going to be a very short post because I am simply so excited that the holiday has finally arrived. Although it is a short 4 days holiday, but it is still a gate away to escape from our normal daily routine! Finally, we can rest without worrying about classes. But still, there is completely no exception for assignments. As expected, we have tonnes of them to be completed by the end of this holiday. Wishing all of you all the best, as well as a goodluck wish for myself. I shall pen off here as for I need to replenish my energy consumed mainly on completing the history documentary yesterday. Alhamdulillah, it is done. Thankyou Allah for easing everything.

1314 struggling

#unrelatedphotooftheday

Greetings citizens of the globe! It is midnight and I am still awake. Opps, correction: We are still awake.

WHO ARE WE?

Its the 1314 batch, my fellow level 1 friends, as I look out the window, all rooms are still bright. People, this is a fight against time in completing our History Documentary assignment. Obviously, everyone is struggling so hard. As for that, I am probably going to stop here as there is tonnes of tasks to be done. Hopefully we can get this documentary done by tomorrow. My group is about Phillipines. By the way, good luck dear friends! Dont sleep, dont give up and keep up the good work. This is for our carry marks! Toodles!

'Wordless' Wednesday

Greetings citizens of the globe! Since we have approximately 3 weeks plus before our final semester examination, mainly for the level 1 students, everyone is on a very critical crisis - rushing to submit the assignments on time.

THIS WEEK WILL BE THE LAST WEEK TO COMPLETE AND SUBMIT THE HISTORY DOCUMENTARY - DUE; FRIDAY (11.10.2013)

Horrifying isnt it? For my group, probably we have completed 65% of the video and there are still more to be done! This is indeed a stressful week for everyone. It might be easy to say but it is so hard to be done. Be strong batchmates! This is it. Who might knows this moment of hardship may end with happiness and success dreamt by every single one of us? Keep on going, we have the capability to endure such circumstances.

A new day! #unrelatedphotooftheday

Greetings citizens of the globe! Rise and shine, smell the coffee and toast and dont forget to smile as well :)

Random pictures as motivation and meditation as well

So, what shall I write for today? I dont really have much to update since it is still early in the morning and I had just started my day few hours ago. I miss home. This week has been a very busy week since everybody is rushing to complete their assignments especially the History documentary as well as studying for quizes and post tests for this final semester. At this edge, sometimes we felt like cracking our head due to all the pressure and stress that kept on coming day by day. But this is life - life without problems is the same as not living at all. We can never solve any problem without creating more problems.

Beneath all the pressure, there will definitely be someone or something as some sense of inspiration. My sense of inspiration are the one who keep me on the go to face every challenges in life with stoicism, who encourage me to reach up high, who support me even at the edge of darkness, who trust me as who I am and those loved one who have faith in me regardless of what I do nor what I achieve. They are whom I call by mama, papa, my brother and sister as well as my friends. My main source of strength is Allah.

One had once told me; "If you feel like the whole world is colliding apart, if you feel like you are in the shadows of your past, remember; Hasbunallah wa ni'mal wakil ni'mal maula wa ni'man nashir. Allah is sufficient for us. Remember Him, have faith in Him since He never place any burden greater than one can bear, remember your parents, remember you friends and the joy you can bring them once you had achieve your goals and mission." Just a moment of reflection.

#unrelatedphotooftheday

Greetings citizens of the globe! Guess what? Monday blues is on again. So people, how was your day? Mine was simply fine and mild. Nothing much happened today. I am just counting days till the day when I will be able to go home. Finally after 2 months, Ipoh I am coming! Just had a short conversation with mama and she said she will be fetching me this Friday. *Have some patience Qistina* *HAPPY FACE*

It is almost midnight, I am not so sure of my feelings. Perhaps I might need a short nap before continuing with my Mathematics assignment and Physics review before the quiz tomorrow. Wishing all members of 4K7 good luck for the quiz tomorrow! A better tomorrow - please arrive soon. Till then, toodles!

A special one for my Guardian Angel

Mama, my everything

I was born in the hands of an angel, I was kept under the guardiance of an angel, I was cared so much by an angel. I was pampered with love and affection from an angel. The angel is my one and only love of my heart- My mom or whom I call Mama.

6th October - Alhamdulillah mama is now 56 years old. Happy birthday to you mama! May Allah bless you and your life journey towards happiness and life and hereafter. May Allah grant all your wishes and silent prayers. May Allah place you under His guidance towards Jannah. May Allah grant you patience in facing all circumstances in life. May Allah bless you with happiness and laughter in pursueing your life journey. May Allah protect you from danger and harm. Fi Hifzillah mama.

As you are reading this post right now, I simply want you to know how much I love you that I can never describe nor measure that feeling. I remembered when I was still a kid and you asked me "Whom do you love more, papa or mama?", and I answered "Both." You asked again, "How much do you love me and papa?" I answered "Beyond infinity." But rather in a simpler sentence.

I may not express my feelings in words nor in this post. I love you mama, I love you papa. Apology as I may not be a good daughter, but mama and papa are simply the greatest parents a girl can ever ask for.  Do you believe in love at first sight? I do because I love mama and papa since the first moment I opened my eyes.

When it comes to love, you can never describe it.

As long I am still breathing, hold my words that I will forever love both of you as much, papa and mama. I can never give anything in return. But as long as you are always there to support me, then I will forever keep my promise to try my best in achieving the best I can do. I am sorry I was not there during mama's birthday, none of us did except brother. But do bear in your mind that, we all love you more than words can say.

This is from me; HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA! I love you so much more than words can ever describe! I simply cannot wait to go home this coming Friday! I miss mama, papa, sister, brother, grandma and even my little cat, Princess. Happy Birthday again :D Till then, toodles!

I have no idea why, but I think I am starting to love yellowish mustard shoes #unrelatedphotooftheday

Greetings citizens of the globe! After a week normal routine, finally the weekend has arrived! It is Saturday, most of the students went home. *at the verge of jealousy*

I miss home so bad

So today we went for a day out. With who? Assila and Leeya. Dayang was supposed to come as well but due to some circumstances, she did not follow. Where to? The Mines! *HAPPY FACE* So we went out at 10. We were hungry so we went out early.

First stop- Where do hungry people go in the first place? FOOD HUNTING! Happy tummy = Happy me.

Next, we went straight to the cinema to watch Gravity. That story was mainly about a group of astronauts on a mission. Unfornately for them, a massive explosion of the Russian shuttle strucked in the mid space affecting them and their safety at that particular coordinate. Their whole carrier was destroyed. They were 4 of them, 2 died during the explosion, the other one, Matt, gave up his opportunity to survive leaving only 1 female survivor. She had to travel all the way to the International Space Station to abort the emergency capsule called Soyuz to Tianggong - a Chinese space station and take another capsule to Earth. Whoops. Guess I am just another spoiler of a movie right? Sorry, I will stop here :D

The next mission was to go for SHOPPING! Went to Voir and the promotions are just irresistable! 10% 20% 30% 50% 70%! It was a war between saving and heart's desire. Bought 2 shoes, a pair of slack, cute socks and a message in a bottle. Cheers! *HAPPY FACE* Assila and Leeya bought theirs too. Since we were already there, we went to Halafest - the biggest halal food fairs in Malaysia. I bought nothing but a spicy cheesy chicken. Now I am hungry again. We eat again and finally went back to PERMATA *SAD FACE*

But before that, we went for a lake cruise! The boat was supposed to take us straight to the KTM jetty, but apparently the driver took us for a cruise around the lake watching the swans and enjoying the beauty of the starry night.

Technically, the whole day was amazingly fun! Till then, toodles!
